It’s not every season a sports city gets two shiny new sports venues all at once, but that’s just what’s going on in Atlanta. With the construction of a brand new ballpark and a fresh football stadium, Atlanta sports fans get to cheer on their teams in style during the 2017 season.

The Atlanta Braves will get to hit balls out of a new park and the Atlanta Falcons will be stomping on untouched turf this season. And for your epic entertainment needs, new venues mean brand new suites! Here’s an overview of Georgia’s newest venues and their suites.

New Venues in Atlanta

SunTrust Park

The Braves’ new ballpark in Atlanta is set to open its gates in February ahead of the 2017 season. The shiny new stadium in the Cumberland area of Cobb County, GA is sure to generate homerun demand from baseball fans.

SunTrust Park, a 41,500 seat facility, is scheduled to be completed on time and within budget- around a $622 million budget to be exact. Seats in the middle and upper levels will sit closer to the field than at the Brave’s previous stadium.

Suites at SunTrust Park can accommodate groups of many sizes as capacities range from 20 to 250 people. SunTrust Park luxury suites are spread across two levels of the park, and six party suites overlook right field.

SunTrust Park suites are furnished with both indoor seating and outdoor balcony seating, as well as high-top tables. Suites feature retractable glass windows, 65 inch TV’s, and 3 unique food and beverage options to select from for each game.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium

As Falcons fans are well-aware, the Falcons are playoff-bound this season. Regardless of how far they go on their quest for a Super Bowl appearance, they’ll return next season to a state-of-the-art new home at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The stadium will also house the Atlanta United FC of MLS.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium broke ground in May, 2014 and is set to open its gates in Summer of 2017, ahead of the 2017 NFL season. The venue will feature a retractable roof and the largest 360-degree HD video halo board in the NFL.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium features luxury suites on both the field level and the suite level. Touchdown Suites, located on the field level, include 10-22 tickets with additional standing room only tickets available. Touchdown suites offer a unique view of the game at the player’s’ level. Franchise suites are located on the suite level and include 12-22 tickets with additional available for purchase.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium suites include theatre style seats and barstools with amazing views of the action. Suites are climate-controlled for those sometimes chilly Atlanta winters and most Falcons suites even come equipped with private restrooms.
